Carefree Crocodiles
5k Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run
    
Join the fun at the Carefree Clubhouse for the annual CarefreeCrocodiles Fun Run. There will be a 5k run/walk and a 1 mile fun run/walk.  All events begin and end on the clubhouse grounds.  The course runs through the gently rolling streets of Carefree North.  Traffic is minimal, making for ideal running and walking conditions. Water stations will be provided on the course.  The 2008 Fun Run will be on Saturday, June 21, 2008.  The 5k race will start at 8:00 a.m., and the 1 mile fun run will start at 8:30 a.m.  Registration, the start, and the finish line for the Fun Run will be at the Carefree Clubhouse (corner of Leisure Lane and County Line Road in Greenwood.  Take Highway 135 to County Line Road.  Go west 1/4 mile to Leisure Lane. The Carefree Clubhouse is on the right.
Registration
Registration forms for the 2008 Carefree Crocodiles Fun Run are available at the Carefree Club Pool (Starting June 3) or by clicking on the registration form link below.  Pre-Registration entry forms must be postmarked before June 13, 2008. If not postmarked by June 13, a T-Shirt can not be guaranteed.  Race day registrants and those registering after June 13 will recieve a T-Shirt on a first come first serve basis. Fees for the 2008 Fun Run:  

Adult - $15                        Youth (14 and Under) - $11

Awards

Ribbons will be given to all participants in the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk. Medals will be given to the top finishers in each age category in the 5k run and walk. Ribbons will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place in each age group. Trophies will be given to the top male and female finisher in the 5k run and walk.
